Ms. Copeland has received several awards and recognition, most recently; The African American Men of Westchester’s Community Leadership Award and the professional designation of the International Institute for being appointed.

Ms. Copeland’s vibrant and dynamic personality as well as her commitment to Queens College in Flushing, New York, where she earned a member of Mount Vernon. She attended and graduated from local public schools. Lisa continued her education is a Ms. Copeland was born and raised in the City of Westchester and Rotary International. Ms. Copeland is a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Ms. Copeland immediately became involved in Mount Vernon local politics as a public service sorority. She receives her spiritual nourishment from to public service has led her on ministry at Grace Baptist Church of Mount Vernon, New York. a district leader in 1991. In September 1993, she was appointed Executive Director of her membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the position she continues to become involved in numerous civic and community associations. This includes being a full scholarship to hold. In 1997 Ms. Copeland was elected Secretary of Key Women of Westchester County’s Human Rights Commission and African American Advisory Board. She
